I want to use my first reflection post to expand upon my initial idea for the Inquiry Project.

When I was in high school, we were assigned a project that wanted us to create a presentation based around some aspect of legality/a specific law. For my project, I focused on copyright and the minimilazation of fair use and the Public Domain. It was a topic that was very interesting, and with the rise of AI and it’s theft of intellectual properties, has only become more and more of a concern for myself, due to my interest in joining the film industry as a career. I would like to use this opportunity of the Inquiry Project to delve deeper into the history of copyright law, and what standards and precedents will likely change in the future.

Hopefully this chance to expand and reflect on my inquiry project idea qualifies for my first reflection post.
